Scope and term
Recognition is granted for 24 months, subject to annual review. Only the activities, delivery methods and locations in the record may be described as recognised.
Changes and monitoring
Notify material changes before implementation. EUBF may request evidence, investigate a relevant complaint or arrange a proportionate follow-up review. Holders must cooperate and correct substantiated shortcomings.
A new location, delivery method or service may fall outside the existing decision even where the organisation’s name is unchanged. Describe the proposed change and ask whether further review is needed before presenting it as recognised. Continue to use the scope in the current record until an authorised decision changes it.
Status changes
Recognition may expire, be suspended or be withdrawn. Reasons and the opportunity to respond are communicated to the holder. Urgent protective action may precede a full review where justified.
Marks and appeals
Use of recognition marks must match the current record. Suspended or withdrawn claims must be corrected promptly. Eligible decisions may be appealed within 28 calendar days of notification.
