1. Establish the scope
Select the recognition route, identify activities and locations, and review the requirements. EUBF checks whether the application falls within the scheme.
Education recognition · Practice recognition · Recognition fees
2. Submit evidence
Provide the required documents and accept the written fee schedule. Completeness is normally checked within ten working days. Missing information is identified in a single request wherever practical.
3. Complete the assessment
An appointed assessor reviews evidence and arranges any interviews or visit. Relevant interests are disclosed. Findings identify the requirement, evidence and any corrective action.
A finding should make clear what is missing or inconsistent and which requirement it affects. Respond with evidence that addresses that point rather than submitting an unrelated set of documents. Where corrective action is required, explain what changed and how you checked that the change resolved the issue. The decision-maker considers the assessment and the response together.
4. Receive the decision
A decision-maker reviews the assessment. Approval, conditions or refusal are explained in writing. Approved records state their scope and validity. Eligible decisions can be appealed.
