Purpose
EUBF works to advance professional competence, responsible practice and access to education in the beauty sector.
Practitioners, educators, employers and representative bodies encounter different parts of the same profession. Membership gives them a way to contribute to its development. Education addresses the knowledge and skills needed in practice; recognition assesses whether a defined programme or service meets the relevant requirements.
Who the work serves
Our work serves practitioners, professional associations, businesses, education providers and learners. Public directories and verification services help clients and other users understand an EUBF status and what it covers.
Our responsibilities
EUBF administers its own membership and programme rules. Those rules operate alongside the laws and professional requirements that apply where a person works.
