Authority and oversight
The General Assembly exercises the powers reserved to it by the statutes. The Board oversees strategy, resources and organisational accountability. The Secretariat administers decisions and provides operational support.
Specialist work
Committees work within written terms of reference. Their advice informs the authorised decision but does not itself approve an application.
Assessors review evidence against published criteria and record their findings. The person with delegated authority then makes the decision. An admissible appeal is reviewed independently, without the original decision-maker taking part. Applicants receive a formal decision notice; administrative correspondence does not replace it.
Conflicts of interest
People involved in appointments, assessment, funding and awards must disclose relevant interests. A recorded conflict may require withdrawal from a discussion or decision.
Governing documents
The document register identifies the current statutes and adopted policies, their approval dates and the bodies responsible for them. Membership fees do not determine voting rights.
