Award categories
The scheme distinguishes professional practice, education contribution and community learning. The call for entries defines the eligible work, relevant period and evidence for each category.
Choose the category that best describes the contribution being put forward. Explain what was done, who was responsible and what evidence supports its value. A strong entry makes the work understandable to reviewers who were not involved in it; general promotional claims about the entrant are not a substitute for evidence about the nominated work.
Assessment
Entries are assessed against published criteria by appointed reviewers. Reviewers declare interests and do not assess entries where impartiality would be compromised.
Results
Results identify the category, recipient and work recognised. An award does not certify all of a recipient’s services or provide a professional licence.
Entering
Read the rules and the relevant call before submitting. Dates, any entry fee and the submission route are stated in that call. Sponsorship does not influence selection.
