The Board
The Board oversees strategy, resources and organisational performance within the powers established by the statutes. Board members serve under defined terms of appointment.
The Secretariat
The Secretariat handles membership, programme administration, records and enquiries. It coordinates the work required to implement authorised decisions.
For applicants and members, the Secretariat is the point of contact for locating a case, supplying further information and identifying the person responsible for the next step. It can explain a procedure or arrange a response. A request to change an assessment outcome follows the applicable review or appeal procedure.
Professional appointments
Committee members and assessors hold specific responsibilities under their appointments. These roles are distinct from executive office and do not confer authority to act beyond their remit.
Accountability
Appointments and changes are reflected in the public record. Relevant interests are managed under the conflict-of-interest policy. For an enquiry about authority to represent EUBF, contact the Secretariat.
