Choose a route
Education recognition addresses teaching, assessment and learner support. Practice recognition addresses the management and delivery of specified professional services at identified locations.
Choose according to the activity you want assessed, not simply the name of your organisation. A business that both teaches and provides services may have different responsibilities in each role. Define the programmes or services, delivery methods and locations before requesting assessment, so the proposed scope and the resulting public claim can be matched accurately.
What recognition means
The public record identifies the holder, assessed scope, applicable standard and current status. Recognition does not extend automatically to other courses, branches or related companies.
What applicants can expect
Applicants receive the assessment criteria and fee schedule before committing. EUBF assesses the evidence and provides a reasoned decision, including any shortcomings that must be addressed.
Scope of recognition
Membership alone is not recognition. EUBF recognition is a voluntary scheme and does not replace professional licensing or approval by a public authority.
