Record types
Membership identifies a relationship with the association. Recognition identifies a decision against a scheme. Attendance and completion certificates describe participation or achievement under the stated course requirements.
Status
Active means the record is current within its scope. Expired means its stated term has ended. Suspended means the entitlement is temporarily restricted. Withdrawn means the entitlement has been ended. A corrected or replaced document points to the applicable record.
Historical records and professional permissions
An attendance record may remain historically valid without conferring a current entitlement. No EUBF record automatically grants legal permission to practise in a country.
Accuracy
Ask for clarification where names, scope or dates differ. Public information is limited to what can appropriately be disclosed.
