What the result shows
The result shows the type of record, the holder’s public details, the scope, relevant dates and current status. Compare these details with the document or claim you are checking.
A QR code or printed logo is a route to information, not proof on its own. Check the record reached through the reference, including the identity of the holder and the dates relevant to the claim. If those details differ from the document presented to you, keep the reference and request clarification rather than relying on its appearance.
Understand the type
Membership, recognition and learning certificates establish different things. The explanation accompanying the result sets out what that particular record confirms.
If no record is found
Check the reference for typing errors. A missing result may require manual verification; it is not a finding that a document is false.
Report a discrepancy
Use the verification enquiry and provide the reference and the claim concerned. Do not send unnecessary identity or health information.
