Decision and grounds
Provide the decision reference, date of notification and applicable scheme. Select the ground and explain the error or evidence and its possible effect on the result.
Evidence
Attach the decision and relevant supporting records. For new evidence, explain why it could not reasonably have been provided earlier. State the remedy requested.
Keep the submission focused on the decision under appeal. Identify the part you believe is affected, point to the relevant evidence and explain the connection. If a document contains unrelated information, make the relevant passage clear. The reviewer needs to understand the ground and its possible effect, rather than reconstruct the entire application from an unstructured file collection.
Deadline
Submit within 28 calendar days of notification. If circumstances prevented timely submission, explain them with evidence; acceptance of a late appeal is not automatic.
Review
There is no filing fee. You receive a reference and an eligibility decision. An independent reviewer considers an accepted appeal. The original decision remains effective unless EUBF confirms an interim change in writing.
