Before applying
Read the funding round’s reference, deadline, available support, eligible costs and selection criteria. Gather the required enrolment or offer evidence and prepare a concise learning plan.
Your application
Set out a workable learning plan: what you intend to learn, where you will study, the costs for which you are requesting support and how you expect to use the learning. Explain the barrier to taking part and how the support would address it.
Identify any other funding for the same costs so the request can be assessed accurately. Provide the evidence requested by the funding round and leave out unrelated personal details.
Fair consideration
Reviewers assess against the published criteria and declare conflicts. An optional publicity preference is not part of the selection score.
After submission
You receive a reference and information about the decision timetable. Support is confirmed only through a written award agreement; do not incur costs in reliance on an unconfirmed application.
