Prepare your application

Provide your identity or organisation details, professional field, country and category evidence. An organisation must name an authorised representative. Upload legible documents relevant to the criteria.

Choose documents that establish the eligibility of the person or organisation applying. An application for professional membership should connect qualifications or experience with the stated field of practice; student membership requires evidence of current enrolment. For an organisation or association, make clear who has authority to act. If a document needs explanation, identify the point it supports rather than uploading unrelated material.

Declarations

Confirm that the information is accurate and that you understand the Code of Professional Conduct and membership rules. Optional directory publication and marketing preferences are separate choices.

After submission

You will receive an application reference. We normally check completeness within ten working days and aim to issue a decision within 30 working days of receiving a complete application. We explain any further checks or extension.

Activation

No annual fee is charged before approval. Membership begins after acceptance of the terms and payment. Submission alone does not authorise use of a membership mark.
